Researchers across borders in Skagen for a writing seminar
June 1-3, 2022, researchers from Norway, Sweden and Denmark met for a Greenbizz writing seminar in Skagen. The theme of the seminar this year was ‘State of the art research on green business models’ with the purpose of helping researchers to bring their research out in articles. In total 13 researchers participated and shared their work on Green Business Model writings.
Collaboration and new writing projects
The seminar also provided an opportunity to talk about the progress of the Greenbizz project, status on their work from each of the researchers. This led to interesting discussions and development of new cross-border writing projects.
Associate professor and leader of the innovation research group at Østfold University College, Gunnar Andersson says: ‘the writing seminar is a unique opportunity for researchers to collaborate and develop research across country borders and work on papers together to be published on international journals’.
Platform for junior researches
For junior researchers the seminar was also a platform to present their research and get feedback from peers. An added factor was the beautiful scenario of Skagen that has been a place of creativity, inspiration and exchange for many people. Research assistant at Aarhus University, Rita Madsen says: ‘It was a good opportunity to meet colleagues from Norway and Sweden, have input regarding my research, and enjoy the beautiful city of Skagen’.
The idea is that the researchers will continue the writing collaboration after the return home and develop papers for publication.
